Capital Reporting was established in 1990, and has been providing professional court reporting services since that time. We enjoy an excellent reputation in the legal community, with many long-term local clients as well as many out-of-area clients who use Capital Reporting on a regular basis. We are located in Six Forks Office Center at 8360 Six Forks Road, Suite 101.

Currently our staff consists of 16 court reporters, 6 legal videographers, and 5 scheduling, support, and production specialists. We staff our office during normal business hours and have an emergency contact system in place for afterhours communications. Your emergency message will be answered within minutes of your call. Once you are our client we make ourselves accessible to you at all times.

Capital Reporting has extensive experience in a broad range of proceedings, including North Carolina Legislative Senate and House sessions and special committee meetings as well as North Carolina Judicial Standards Commission hearings. We are under contract with the North Carolina Office of Administrative Hearings and have provided services to that office as well as the State Board of Examiners for Plumbing, Heating & Fire Sprinkler Contractors and State Board of Examiners for Electrical Contractors since 1990. We have recently provided services to Duke University for their Health Summit, as well as North Carolina State University on a regular basis for their faculty and student grievance, disciplinary, and appeal hearings.

We have a large clientele of attorneys for whom we provide primarily deposition services covering all areas of litigation, including medical malpractice, personal injury, product liability, patent litigation, class action suits, proprietary rights, and international business cases. We also provide transcription services for electronically recorded meetings, hearings, seminars, and interviews for businesses, law firms, and educational institutions.
